Where Heart Meets High Standards
Meet Our Founder & Guide
Ashley Cavallaro, NIC – Nationally Certified Interpreter & Advocate
Ashley Cavallaro’s interpreting journey began as a teenager—when her curiosity led her to learn ASL directly from the Deaf community. What began as a passion quickly became a lifelong mission to ensure access, equity, and connection for those who rely on visual language to be seen and heard.
With degrees in American Sign Language and Psychology, and over 20 years of professional interpreting experience, Ashley has worked in every setting from hospitals to mental health facilities to boardrooms and classrooms. Her favorite assignments? The ones where real connection happens.
Ashley’s values are shaped by her father—a surgeon who taught her that everyone deserves excellent care, no matter their age, race, or ability. That principle now fuels every decision she makes at A2Z.
Today, Ashley remains deeply hands-on in the agency. Her expertise and attention to detail influence every assignment. And yes, you might even see her show up as your interpreter in the community.
“We’re not a mega-agency. We’re a mission-driven partner. And that makes all the difference.”
– Ashley Cavallaro
